The most enjoyable aspect of my little business enterprise is giving teaching instruction on the many techniques of quilting. Seeing all levels of expertise complete a quilt piece is personally very rewarding.

I offer three types of classes:

These are scheduled classes on specific items of quilting given in the comfort of my own studio. You have your own "PQI"! (Personal Quilting Instructor) Demonstrations, displays, presentations and technique teaching to all groups with quilting in mind.

In order for new and returning students to have a preview of the upcoming classes, to see actual class samples and to obtain class material, we have an open house previous to the commencement of classes

Individual Classes

Very popular are the individual tutoring classes where a quilter wishes to be instructed privately on a particular technique or a specific pattern and I work along to help complete the project. We meet each week, then after a period of three or four months we have a completed quilt. Equally popular is finishing those incomplete quilting projects or completing that unfinished inherited quilt or some major repairs to Grandmother's well worn quilt.

Group Classes

Fran's Quilting Services has been giving classes and presentations for many years to the quilting community at large in Eastern Canada and the United States. Initially classes were made availabe to local quilting shops and area quilting guilds. This expanded to other groups that were specific to quilter forums.
